Darken any web page: how to add the blackify button to firefox (with the icon)

  1. Drag the blackify icon blackify from your address feild to your bookmarks toolbar (see video below if you don’t understand)..
  2. Click on the blackify bookmark you just created. The blackify icon should show up next to the work blackify.
  3. Right click on this blackify icon blackify and select “copy link location.”
  4. Right click on the blackify bookmark and select “properties.”
  5. Right click in the location field and click “select all.”
  6. Press the delete key, then right click the same field and select “paste.”
  7. Click OK.
  8. Go to any web page and click the blackify bookmark to reformat it with a black background and light text.

This video is a bit fuzzy due to youtube’s compression, but it illustrates the process if you’re confused.
